The first proper entry of the year is quite overdue, and i think i'll give up on the yearly resolution to stop procrastinating. Haha.

31 Dec - 1 Jan - Went to KL with Siti, Adi, Zulie, Kaz, Nisa, Halim and Idris Rapper. Had our new year countdown there. Well it was fun! Lazy to go into the details. Went to a pub (the live band was superb), went for the rollercoaster and other rides at Time Square, foot reflexology among other things. Reached Singapore on Sun morning.

6-7 Jan - Watched The Fourth kind with Ira on Wed night. Did sentry on Wed and Thurs night with a new girl, Shakina. The campers were restless at night, especially the boys. It was 2 tiring sentry duties.

8 Jan - Played soccer at Yo's court,, then went to JB. Went there to pump petrol with Kaz at midnight. First time rode there with my darling red&white. Its actually quite fun to go there and just chill and eat in the wee hours of the morning. Heh. One day must go there with more people. Thats one new thing i did in the new year. Yay!

12 Jan - Half day at work. Went to medical appointment at CGH for my left knee. Went to Al-ikhlas for urut with my father.

13-14 Jan - Did sentry on Wed and Thurs night at Cdans campsite for North Brooks Sec with Nada. Surprisingly the campers were well behaved and didn't make any problems at all. So thats good.

16 Jan - Did GI for the second day for ITE West. It was slightly challenging but manageable camp, and thank goodness its a 2 day 1 night camp and not the normal 3 days 2 nights camp. Went to play soccer with PAB people at night at cage after the camp.

18 Jan - Did ADO duty.

19 Jan - Went off from div at 10am. Heh. Then went to do LDR program for NCC students. I'm looking forward to doing more programs for LDR, cos its quite easy to conduct. Heh. Went for dinner at Lau Pa Sat. Then they made a mini surprise with cake when they found out it was my birthday. Yup. So it was the least interesting birthday so far. Felt down through out the day actually.

20 Jan - Went for medical appointment at 10am, then got mc for the day. Heh. Watched Did You Hear About The Morgans with Nisa at Ehub in the afternoon. Its a good movie man. Then headed to Simpang, where i thought we were only going to meet Siti, but turns out Adi, Haddad, Zura, Halim and Kaz was there too. And rapper came a bit later. Had another birthday celebration, a proper one i guess. We were singing the birthday song so many times till the Spice crew went out and gave us ice cream prata with a candle on top of it. Haha. Nice man. I had make-up using cake and whatever they can find. Heh. And i had to finish a big bottle of prune juice and 6 cups of yogurt. Luckily Halim helped me with the yogurt. Heh. I had a bloated stomach at the end of the night.

21-22 Jan - Did program for Ngee Ann Sec under LDC on Thurs and Fri, and did sentry at Changi on Thurs night. On Fri, played soccer in school in the afternoon, then at basketball court at night. Then dropped by Lane's chalet and met up with my coursemates. Been a while since we saw each other.

25 Jan - Went to meet Nisa at Vivo. Had a fast dinner, then joined Rapper at Iluma Filmgarde. Watched The Toothfairy. Good funny movie.

26 Jan - Had half day off to go for my class 2 TP. So in the end, i went for TP without any revision. Stalled while dropping gear at e-brake. Was prepared for the worse, but turned that i passed with four points only, due to going on the bumpy course too fast. Woohoo! Now that class 2 is done, its time to concentrate on class 3. Had my first lesson that very night after the TP. Driving is fun! Haha. That's another new thing i did in the new year.

27 Jan - Went to PS to meet up with Ami, Daphne, Edwin Lee and Kok Wei, my classmates from sec school. Been 7 years since i last met Ami. Fuh thats quite long. Very nice seeing them. Rushed for car prac after that.

29 Jan - Went to collect Saufi's and my pay at Camelot. Had my first lesson in circuit at night. Need to practice driving at half clutch, especially the slope. Heh.

30 Jan - Spent the whole day at division due to Exercise Rambo. Reached div at 9.30am, left at 10.30pm. Phew. But surprisingly time past quite fast. Even watched a movie, Rebound, starring Catherine Zeta Jones. Nice movie.

31 Jan - Went to play a friendly match at Bukit Merah Sec. We drew 2-2. I scored 1 and set up the other goal. Headed for JB after that. Was already at the money changer in JB when i realized my pay was gone. Luckily Saufi's was still in the box. My money must have dropped out when i took out my jacket from my box when going off from Bukit Merah Sec to JB. Had to use $15 from Saufi's pay to top up my tank. Was intending to repair my fork, but of course didn't cos my money was gone. Haiz. Rode all the way back to the field to try my luck if the money is still there, but of course it wasn't there anymore. Headed to Siti's where we lepak into the night.

2 Feb - After work, watched Law Abiding Citizen with Zal and Yo at Ehub. It was a good movie. Gerard Butler movies are usually good, and damn he can pull off acting in both comedies and action movies.

3 Feb - After work, watched The Spy Next Door with Nisa at Tamp GV. Then hopped to another cinema theatre, which played 14 Blades. Haha. Both were great movies, and we got to watch it for the price of one tix! Haha. The thrill of it.

4 Feb - After work, watched Armored with Rafi at Ehub. Good movie. All the movies are i watched were quite good so far this week, so it was worth it. Heh.

5 Feb - Went for my NIE interview at 10.30am at the MOE building. It went ok. Now i'll have to wait for another letter. Went home, then went out again for Fri prayers. Then met up with Aishah at Vivo. Watched Universal Soldier. Damn Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren look like grandfathers. And Van Damme looked sad through out the movie. Not even a single smile. Haha. Ate at Seah Im food court, then went to Sentosa. Sat at the bridge between Pahlawan beach and the small off shore beach. Had a nice chat session, with great company and nice surrounding. Then walked through Imbeah trail at night. It wasn't as pitch black as the last time i went there during Adi's camp, but still, it was quite a thrill. And the trail seems a bit longer. Heh. So it was an off day well spent.

6 Feb - It was a good and lazy Sat morn. Been a while since i got to wake up late. Lazed around at home. Haha. Had to go Sheng Siong to buy rice for my mother, then went to meet up with Halim and the rest at the underpass towards Esplanade. Went to the stage by the waterfront at Esplanade, where a live band performed. Monochrome was superb! I would have bought their album if i had the money. Heh.

7 Feb - Had our yearly Brotherhood Challenge Mini Tournament in the morning. My team got second place. Heh. But it was fun meeting up with the sec school gang. At Simpang before heading home. Slept thru the whole afternoon. Was super tired.

8 Feb - Finally today! Nothing much at work, as usual. The hours don't pass as slowly as it was when i was just posted there. Heh. Nowadays the hours seem to pass quite fast.



Well, the new year has presented me with new experiences, both good and bad. Its a good start. Hopefully the rest of the year will be filled with more good experiences than bad. Dammit i'm 23. Real life is gonna start soon in July. Looking forward to it, but at the same time kinda scared. Heh. Till then.
