7-9 April - Did Canberra Sec. Did some things for the first time. First time took a normal tech class. And first time become 'camp 2', which is the camp chief's assistant. Learnt a lot of things. I like it when Ahmad is camp chief! Haha. Can learn a lot from him. Went to Food Culture at CS after the camp.

11 April - Picked Yanah up after her work. Went to Town. Just walked around.

12 April - Did Mindaktif program at Arab Street. East View Sec. It went ok i guess. Although it rained heavily at around noon. Met up with Zaid, Noris and Yanah after the program. Then Mokhtar joined. Ate at Raffles Hospital Banquet, then headed to PS. Wanted to catch a movie there, but there wasn't much choices left, so we went to the Cathay. Watched Untraceable.
However you spell it. Heh. Just an average movie ah. Chit-chatted for a while before heading home.

14-19 April - Spent all the five weekdays in school. On Mon went for Cent camp late, cos i couldn't wake up. Reached school at noon. Then went off at 3pm for my first 2A prac. Passed it on first try. Woohoo! Went back to school to join the camp after that. The camp was alright. On Tues morn went for the second 2A prac. Passed it again. Woohoo! Then went back to school.
Went to the BIE meeting with the club's advisor Mr Gary to talk about the club's future. Then rested for a while before the rest of the FAs come at bout 1pm. Played soccer together at bout 4pm. Then at 6pm joined the rest of the Week Zero committees for briefing. Then had the dance practice.

And so came Wed; the big day, the day we've been preparing for all along. Temasek Poly Engineering School Week Zero Orientation. Freshies started to come at 8am. And the ball gets rolling. The first 2 days' program was disappointing, but i think everyone stretched their limits and did their best. There were some problems here and there but i guess the main comm managed to handle it. All i can say is hopefully the next MTC camp can be a better one so the Energix are better prepared. I even missed my bike prac on Wed. Haiz. Waste my $25. On Thurs the FAs rocked the TCC event.! Haha. We really put up a good performance with our dikir and dance. I wish i was part of the dikir, but i had to be the emcee with Din for a while, so i didn't join the dikir. First time i'm in front of such a big crowd. I think i need to be more animated and not to slouch. Heh. I hope i did ok. But the FA performance rocks man.

Anyways on Fri was the big day. Engine really did well during the Olympiad. We rocked man! And we lost to Biz school by just 5 points. At Regatta Engine was also power, and Engine's performance was the best, but as usual, the judges are always kayu, and AS won the performance contest, and Biz school clean sweep all other categories of prizes. And my heart sank even lower when Amir got injured. Haiz. Watched Amir go off in the Ambulance,accompanied by Hafiz, to CGH for xray on his knees. Took a slow walk with Mangkuk back to Engine school. I'm really proud to see all the FAs were back to their posts doing their job, even though the FA dancers and other FAs were really feeling down. I know its difficult to be high-spirited after the big disappointment at the Regatta, cos i felt the same thing, but they managed to portrait their normal selves. The freshies were dismissed by 7pm, and Engine waved everyone goodbye at the bridge as usual. Then had our final debrief. Then went back to FA room for our own debrief. Had my share of words out to them. And we packed and most of them went off. Few of us stayed back. Went to have dinner at Haji Kadir. I practically dragged my feet on the way back to school cos i was super duper exhausted and went straight to sleep when we reached the FA room.

The next day woke up at 10am. Cleaned up the classroom then headed to Ashrae and BIE clubroom. Syafiq, Yat, Taufiq and me went out to buy food, then we came back and ate while watching Shutter in the LT. Heh. Like cinema. We all kena kicap. Haha. Then finally headed home after that. Met Yanah after that at night.

So the last Week Zero experience was quite a new one for me, cos i was one of the 3 heads for the FA department. I hope i did ok. I really never thought of myself being a head before this. It really took a long time for me to be confident enough to be one of the heads. My last contribution for Engine school. Hazim was great. Din is learning. I really appreciate all the FAs for working as one and supporting us all the way. The dancers really gave their best, and the rest contributed in any ways they could. Everything was quite smooth. Big thanks to Bad and Haikel for being in charge of the dance team. It was great working with Hazim. Learnt some things from him. He will always be an inspiring leader to me. For the rest, i really hope everyone will continue to give their best and keep coming back for Engine school's event, and to continue to participate in Engine school's event no matter what department you all will be in. And lets stop talking anything bad bout Engine or any Engine people! Engine school rocks my socks.! Its been the best 4 years of my life in TP. I'll miss everyone...

21 April - First day of school for the semester. Went to school to join the Engine people welcome everyone at the bridge. Heh. Then had breakfast at ITAS. Slacked in school till early afternoon. Went to VICOM for my bike inspection with Syafiq. Then slacked in clubroom till bout 7pm, then went to Istighfar for kelas ugama till 10pm.

22 April - Went for 2A prac 3. Failed the prac. 28 points and 1 immediate failure. Heh. Overshot the line during e-brake. Went to Ah Boy after that to buy box bracket. Spent almost 2 hours before they finally fixed up the bike. Haiz. Then went to LDC office to collect pay before heading home to put my box on the bike. Then headed back out to pick Yanah. Went to Bugis. Ate dinner at Tong Seng. Went home after that.

23 April - Belayed at Dairy Farm. Good thing the weather wasn't good in the late afternoon. So got some rest before going off. Picked Yanah up then headed home.

24 April - Wanted to go to Geylang with my mother, but it rained whent we entered Tamp, so went to Tamp pasar bulat instead. Then went to Loyang Point Sheng Siong before heading home. Went to 2A prac 3 again. Passed this time round. 10 points. Woohoo! But still have to sit for Theory lesson before TP can be booked. Headed to school to slack with the people after that. Slacked with Mangkuk, Haikal and Kodok till late.

25 April - Went to Upper Thomson Road to extend my bike insurance till October, then went straight to Alkaff. After Fri prayers, went to VICOM to pay for road tax. Went to school after that to play soccer. Played till 8pm, then showered and went to bubble tea to meet the others before heading to Esplanade to meet Yanah. Managed to catch OAG play the song Slumber and another song. Nice man. Went home after that.

26 April - And finally today. Went for 2A theory lesson. Then went home. Got a call from Yasir to accompany him to donate blood at Pasir Ris CC. Went to school after that. Washed my bike with Hazwan. Had some help from Eric and co. to rinse our bike with their water gun. Heh. Then Wan, Mangs, Ton, Kak Pa, Haikel and me went to TM ljs to have dinner before cathing Superheroes Movie. To me Meet the Spartans is way funnier then this movie. Played cards before we went off.

Tmr got Jamiyah. Need to sleep, if not, i can't wake up tmr. Heh. Till then. 2 more months to NS. Adios.

2 March - Had camp briefing in the morning. First bumped into Hafiidz, then Billy, Izzatd and Perv came. Had prata at New Victory then went for briefing. After briefing had lunch with the trainers at Zam-zam. I so prefer New Victory now. Zam-zam prata so small and not nice. After that we went to Beach road to buy some camping stuff. I bought a headlamp and multi-purpose pen-knife. Then it rained, so we had sugarcane drink. Then headed to Shaw Towers Sports Connection cos some of them wanted to buy dri-fit pants. I ended up buying a Vertikal 45L bag for $84 and a Karrimor raincover for it for $25.

3-7 March - Went to school on Mon noon for the FA bonding session. Went to St. Pats at bout 6pm. Moved off by 8pm. Reached Taman negara at bout 7am. All i can say is it was a very new and good experience for me. Never went to Taman Negara before. In fact never went for overseas camp before, aside from the AO Kota training camp. Did trekking, caving, rapid shooting, canopy walk, night walk and some other things. I like. Heh. Reached back at St. Pats at about 7am on Fri. Went home and rested. Then that night went for Mindaktif briefing at the boss' house at Choa Chu Kang.

8 March - Did the Mindaktif malay cultural program for Ngee Ann Sec. Met up with Yanah after that.

10-14 March - Did the Mindaktif program. Mon was Yuhua Sec, Tues was Bedok Green Pri, Wed was Concord Pri, and Fri was CHIJ Toa Payoh. Thurs was supposed to be Chai Chee Sec, but the school came on Wed, so other instructors were called up last min to help out. On Wed night went for LDC briefing at their office. On Thurs rested the whole day at home.

15 March - Had the LDC program at Home Team Academy for NISCC students from various schools, including Coral. Heh. Saw Yasir. Haha. After the program, tompang-ed Esther back, but somehow i accidently exit at Woodlands, and there was a jam heading into Johor. Had to make one round to get back into the expressway. Played soccer in the evening.

16 March - Went Jamiyah, but the maulud was at Expo, so went all the way back to Expo. Went to pick up Yanah and went to TM after that. Played soccer at Shell.

17 March - Went to school for the FA bonding sessions. Went off at 5pm. Went to Changi to collect pay. Reached Boon Siew at 5.40pm. It was closed. Damn. Met Yanah at Marina Square. Watched Rule #1. It was a good scary show,except the ending i really don't understand. Went home and packed my stuff to go to Changi, cos that afternoon i just confirmed that i'm doing camp the next day.

18-20 march - Did Blangah Rise Pri camp. It was a good camp. Got some praises from the teachers. Woohoo. Haha. Felt a sense of achievement, cos this camp kinda marks my first year anniversary in the outdoor line, cos i started doing camps in March last year. Went to Boon Siew again after the camp, but the people there said my bike isn't in the catalogue, so they don't know how to service it. Wth man. Went home to put my bag, then went out again to pick Yanah up. Went to bubble tea opposite school to meet up with Hazim and Din. Went home after that.

21 March - Picked Yanah up after Zohor. Went to Botanic Garden. It rained heavily on the way there. We were stranded under a bridge, and ended up having a short picnic there. Heh. Cos we ate the cookies we bought for the picnic. Was stranded for bout 45mins. Finally headed to Botanic Garden when the rain subsided. Picniced at the Swan Lake. Nice ambience there. Went off at 5pm plus. Then headed to Tamp Shell court to play socer with Mail and gang and Hazim and gang. Heh.

22 March - Wanted to join Boulderactive, but i reached there late. Registration was closed. Wth. Ended up watching the comp for a while, then bought a Hi-tec amphib shoes at World of Sports for just $50. Soccered in the afternoon.

23 March - Went to Eastpoint after Magrib. Met Malik, Fee and Rafi there. Then went home for a while before going to Mail's. Watched Man U vs Arsenal, while eating lotsa lasagne cooked by Suhaimi. It was guys party seh. Haha. 11 guys in a house.

25 March - Did a recce at Ubin for the camp the next day. Came back to mainland at 5pm. We recced the trekking route and helped collect the kayaks which was transported there. Went home, then went to CCAC at night.

26-28 March - Did Hougang Pri camp. The kids are lembik ah. Second time doing camp at UAC. It was a good learning experience. Starting to familiarise with Ubin now. But i have yet to experience Jelutong campsite. After the camp, some of us went to eat somewhere in Hougang. Had 2 prata cheese mushroom. Heh. Then headed to school to meet Hazim and gang. They were practising the dance for Regatta. Very interesting. Went home after that. What a tiring day.

29 March - Woke up late. Went out with Yanah in the evening. Went to Zeyra's chalet.

30 March - Went to Jamiyah late. Heh. Serviced my bike at Geylang. Spent $109. Damn. And its still not up to standard. Went to the Engine bbq in the evening. Fun.! But i got fined for not putting parking coupon. Damn! Went home at midnight.

1-4 April - MTC! Mentor Training Camp! On day zero the FAs had our own program. We became karang guni and chefs. It was like having our own one day camp. The number of mentors who came was very disappointing to me, and their Engine spirit wasn't there. The number of old mentors who came back can be counted with one hand. The FAs were full of energy but the energy transfer to the mentors was really slow. At least at the end of the camp the mentors were quite high. Hopefully this Week Zero will be a good one. And also this is the first time i'm one of the FA heads for Week Zero. Don't know if i performed well as a leader. Hopefully i did.

5 April - Went to Marina Square with Yanah at 5pm. Walked around for a while before meeting up with her friend Juliana and her bf. So had a double date at Seoul Garden. After that walked around the salerooms at Suntec Convention Centre before going off to pick my sis up.

6 April - And finally! Today! Been a long while since i blogged. Went to Jamiyah just now. Gonna play soccer at Telok Blanga later. Then go to CCAC for camp tmr. Canberra sec. And i got my NS letter yesterday! 8 July! SCDF! Hopefully my pes can upgrade to B. Till then. Many things to look forward to.

27 April - Early in the morn at 4am i woke up. I had difficulty breathing, as if my trachea was filled with phlegm or my lungs got no space to expand in my body. I suddenly thought; is this what it feels like to die? To be at the brink of death, when your breath is taken away from you slowly. I suddenly got myself thinking bout my family, bout her, bout all my friends. Got out of my bed and helped myself to a warm cup of water. Saw in the mirror that my eyes was slightly swollen and very red. Went back to bed after drinking. When i lied down it felt worse, so i sat up for while before finally lied down and sleep. It was a very scary experience for me. Maybe its a reminder from God that i should really taubat, not to take things for granted. I love my family, Yanah, my sec school friends and poly friends! And i woke up with very swollen eyes. But it subsided in the afternoon. So played soccer as usual. Then headed to Changi campsite at night for camp briefing. Went home for a while after midnight cos my mother bought tomyam noodles. Heh.

28-30 April - Had camp at Changi campsite for Kranji Pri. Camp was alright i guess. Was the campfire emcee. And 100+ parents camp. Wahlau. Then the principal came to me and said he expect the campfire to be good cos there's lots of parents. Pressure seh. But the campfire was alright i guess. On Wed after the camp, went home to sleep for a while. Then played soccer. After that, met up with Mail and gang for Rafi's birthday surprise. Happy 21st birthday to Rafi! Had pizza from Pizza Hut. Ate the food at Pasir Ris Park. Then watched Ironman at the Cathay at Downtown at 1.30am. Woohoo. Nice movie.

1 May - Went out with my parents and bro after Zohor. My sis didn't follow cos she was working. Treatd my family to watched The Forbidden Kingdom at TM. After that went to eat at Haji Kadir before going home. Went out in the evening to the Singapore Flyer to meet Yanah and the other two couple. Took the Singapore Flyer ride. Nothing spectacular bout it actually. And its so expensive, but i guess its all about the company we're with that makes the ride fun. Ate at Lau Pa Sat before heading home.

2 May - Went to Ghufran for Fri prayers. Slacked in school till 5pm. Played soccer till bout 9pm. Then joined Hazim and gang at the IMT/MET camp. The crowd was kinda great, so i took the mic and talked some crap. And suddenly i was the emcee for the performance night. Haha. But it was fun. Then had the night walk. A lot of people grabbed me at 18-6 seh. Heh. And someoone called the whole thing off. But putting that aside, it was quite a good night walk. Slacked for a while after that in Atomic, before deciding to go home at bout 5am. Heh.

3May - Woke up at noon. Missed the Camelot meeting. Played soccer at Whitesands Pri at bout 3.15pm. It was blazing hot man. Went to school to join them for debrief and helping them pack up. Slacked in Atomic again before the few of us went to have late dinner at Techno before going home.

And today. Went to Jamiyah in the morn. Then went to pick up Yanah to accompany her to a clinic in Simei. Played soccer at Coral Pri, then continued at Mail's court. Tired seh. No idea what i'm gonna do tmr. Most prob go to school and slack. Heh. Till then. Adios.
